We would like to welcome our newest employee to the team. Travis Hanrahan has taken on the role of Technical Officer with QMRS. He will be based in Dysart and looking after the northern zone of the basin. He will be getting around to mine sites and both stations to meet people over the coming weeks and months.
There will be a new addition to each mine substation within the next few months with the construction and installation of a cylinder container to help avoid confusion in the event training is held at a mine site. The operational cylinders will now be demarcated and locked in the container to ensure there is no mixing of empty and full cylinders.
A full audit of QMRS assets was conducted in April to assist in tidying up our asset management program. After a successful week we now have a clear and accessible register available to us online which we can find in a timely manner when required to tell us where our assets are located throughout the Bowen Basin.
The team is starting the preparation of equipment for the EK Healy to be held at Dysart in August.
We would like to wish all the teams competing the best of luck on the day. It will be an enjoyable day with Dysart Station showing what it now has to offer.
