QMRS has responded to industry requests to deliver several of its ERT rescue courses on a stand-alone basis by broadening the range of its curriculum with the addition of four stand-alone courses.
Each course is fully compliant with the underpinning course competency unit and any prerequisite unit/s. This reorganisation and restructuring of the ERT curriculum provides the flexibility for open cut ERT trainees to choose an alternate training pathway toward developing specific rescue skills, and if desired toward attaining a Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (ERR) on a needs basis, rather than completing the ERT Modules 1-8 training program in sequence.
Students who have completed the equivalent QMRS ERT courses in the past and have been issued with Statements of Attainment will be issued additional Statements of Attainment for the prerequisite units that apply to each course.
